What if you could spend time with a lot of good people in a really fun place? And while spending time with them, you learned a lot about yourself and how to treat others. What if during that time you got to learn some new skills like how to shoot an arrow from a bow or how to master a challenge course or how to kayak, take a raging river on in a raft? What if you got to hang out in the middle of a pond on a water trampoline or cook all your meals on an open fire? And during that time you were able to create works of art and sing and play games you couldn't play anywhere else. Would you experience God in that setting? Would you want to go to that place?
Our summer program is all about kids. An integrated program of recreation, eating, nature, worship and living together rounds out our days. Our goal is to share the love of Jesus in a way that brings all the goodness of God. The program focuses around a counselor and his or her 6-8 campers.
Home for the week is a rustic shelter where counselor and campers work together, sharing daily responsibilities of gathering firewood, washing dishes, getting water. Other activities include theme days (Messy Monday, Wet and Wild Wednesday to name two) arts & crafts, nature hikes and studies, swimming, boating, group games, sports and activities on the cooperation course and at the archery range. Smoking and use of alcohol is not permitted on camp property during youth program. All illegal substances are obviously not permitted.
Sojourner Session offers new adventures and experiences for veteran BBC campers and first time campers alike. Will "Creek" Williams had a great time at BBC and is planning to return again this summer all the way from VA, to dynamically and authentically share on our summer theme "aGlow." Trademark BBC activities are joined with events saved solely for Sojourner week to provide an unforgettable week of fun, adventure, relationship and faith.
The Explorer Session at BBC is geared to help campers have fun, make friends, learn more about God as revealed through Jesus Christ, themselves, and nature while interacting with the community around them. This session especially recognizes the unique age of Junior High and aims to bridge the gap between elementary school and high school with a special event: MIDDLE SCHOOL MADNESS...stay tuned for more details!
Discoverer Extended - Ages 12 -13; June 26 - July 8

The Discoverer Session at BBC is geared to help youth examine the world around them and wonder aloud about the changes happening in their lives while spending time in nature, with other youth, and exploring how faith fits into life. This session also seeks to help campers explore independence within community, offering more choices than earlier sessions.
Discoverer campers spend time together as an entire community to give ample opportunity to make many friends and continue to build on existing relationships throughout the week. All Camp activities include…
Voyager Extended - Ages 10-11; July 17-July 29

- Boat Building
- Wilderness Skills
- Cooperative Activities

- Nature Lessons
The Voyager Session at BBC is geared to help campers have fun and learn more about God as revealed through Jesus Christ, themselves, nature and the people around them. This session provides more opportunity for both cooperation and independence by providing more options for activities among shelters and individuals.
Voyager campers spend time together as an entire community to give ample opportunity to make many friends and continue to build on existing relationships throughout the week. All Camp activities include…

The Friendship Session at BBC is geared to help campers learn more about God, themselves, nature and the community around them. For some Friendship campers it is the first time staying overnight in a new place. All activities are done in groups of 4-8 led by a counselor. To facilitate community among these youngsters and foster social growth Friendship session spends a lot of time together as a large group developing the feeling of community, love, fun and adventure in a safe atmosphere through activities including:

This session aims to complement their elementary school experiences. To facilitate community among these youngsters Pilgrim session spends a lot of time together as a large group developing the feeling of community, love, fun and adventure in a safe atmosphere.
