Sojourner - Ages 14-18; Jul 31 - Aug 5

Sojourner Session offers new adventures and experiences for veteran BBC campers and first time campers alike. Will "Creek" Williams had a great time at BBC and is planning to return again this summer all the way from VA, to dynamically and authentically share on our summer theme "aGlow."  Trademark BBC activities are joined with events saved solely for Sojourner week to provide an unforgettable week of fun, adventure, relationship and faith.

Events Unique to Sojourner Session:

- Family Style Dinner in the Pavilion

- Coffe House

- Barn Party

- Fireside Worship Bands

- Iron Chef Competition

- OVERNIGHT TRIPS:

- Bacpacking: An overnight hiking Trip. Campers leave from main camp and hike for 2-3 hours to Plymouth State Park, guided by BBC trained staff. Upon arrival campers set up camp, play games, relax, cookout, explore the park and get to know each other better. The park provides a great source of recreation the following day with a lake to swim and canoe in, hiking trails and open fields. After a full morning/afternoon of games, hanging out, relaxing and food, all campers will hike back to BBC for showers, more games (human dutch blitz, volleyball, craft opportunities, water trampoline, etc) and join the rest of camp for a family style, reunion meal in the pavilion. Additional Cost: $7.

- SoulFest: Campers will travel with BBC staff to Gilford, NH for 2011 SoulFest. The evening starts with various concerts by Christian musicians and caps off with the headliner group for the evening. The group then heads to a nearby campsite to sleep. The following day is spent reflecting on music, how it impacts our lives and discussing together themes of life. After lunch, campers will make the trek back to camp to shower, relax by the pond, pariticapte in group games and join the rest of the Sojourner camp for a family style, reunion meal in the pavilion. Limited Space: Must have deposit to hold spot. Additional Cost: $45

- Rock Climbing: A teen favorite. Campers will test their love for adventure as they attempt to scale the rocks by the Falls of Lana at Branbury State Park. Campers will be taught basic belaying and rock climbing skills from experienced and certified climbers. Campers will spend time exploring trust, adventure and nature. The group will sleep under the stars (or tarps, depending on weather) at Brandon State Park the night prior and then return to BBC after climbing to join the rest of the Sojourner group for a family style reunion meal in the pavilion.  Limited Space: Must have deposit to hold spot. Additional Cost: $65
